I have a question on the usability of the Name Conversion Utility in our specific situation.
At the moment we're using Sametime 2.5 with a Domino address book. This server is part of a LearningSpace 5 Environment. We want to migrate to a separate Sametime server, so we've set up a 6.5.1 server in our new Domino 6 domain. On this server we configured LDAP so that all users can log on to the server with their Windows account. We wonder now if we can use the Name Conversion Utility to migrate the VPUserInfo.nsf from the 2.5 server from the old Domino names to the new LDAP names on 6.5.1 and if so, which version of the tool should we use in this situation?
I've played a bit with the tool by copying one storage document from the 2.5 VPUserInfo to the 6.5.1 one and running the 6.5.1 tool with the old name-->the new name. The tool says it ran succesfully but it leaves no log (parameter is in the sametime.ini) and makes no changes.
